The idea of Serena Collective was born one chilly afternoon, After a sudden death in Grace's family and Florrie's part time employment we both were looking into volunteering at woman's shelters, charities etc. To no avail there were dead ends, missing web pages and no direct contacts for the minimal volunteer sites. We are based in Southampton City Center and there are not enough groups or spaces for women to come to, relax, meet friends or empower one another. On a chilly afternoon we combined the idea of a women's circle and a safe space and Serena Collective was born.
